Privacy policy

What we collect

Boddominator does not require an account and does not ask for personal information. Our tools, such as the DAW Finder and metronome, run in your browser and do not send your answers anywhere.

Analytics: since 25 October 2026 we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand which guides are useful. It records pages viewed, how you arrived (for example a search engine or a link with campaign tags), clicks on links to other websites, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to recognise repeat visits. We do not use advertising features, and advertising and personalisation storage is turned off.

Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland: analytics storage is turned off by default, so no analytics cookies are set for you.

Retention and opting out: we keep Google Analytics' event data retention at its default of 2 months. You can block analytics with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on. Google's handling of this data is described in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Server logs: our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the referring page, for security and reliability. The hosting control panel may show us these as aggregate visit statistics. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Search data: we use Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google Search (search queries, impressions and clicks in aggregate). It does not add any code or cookies to this site.

Cookies

We do not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets the analytics cookies described above, except for visitors in the regions listed. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of delivering them.

We link to official websites and sources. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave Boddominator.
