Sources and dates

Every statistic links to where it came from, and we say what it measures. Platform data, such as sample downloads on one service, is described as exactly that, not as the whole market. Every article shows when it was published and last updated.

Recommendations

When we recommend software or gear, we explain who it is for and what its limits are. We don't quote prices that change often; we link to the official source instead.

Independence and affiliate links

We currently have no commercial relationships with the companies we cover. If we add affiliate links in the future, they will be clearly labelled, and they will never decide what we recommend.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research and drafting. Every published piece is checked against its sources before it goes live.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the article's date. Spotted an error? Tell us and we will review it promptly.
